The idea for Hugables by Hannah was born when our founder, Hannah, a mum of two little girls living in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland, wanted to send her friend's young son something special after he suffered a painful burn and faced ongoing treatments in the hospital. Hannah, an ex-Registered Nurse with a special interest and non-clinical experience in paediatric palliative care, understood the need for comfort beyond flowers and activity kits. She realized what was missing—a soft, hugable friend that could stay by his side through it all.

Every Hugables by Hannah companion comes with a special message, chosen just for the child, offering words of encouragement, love, and support.
